murmure chat

Ingredients:

Puffed Rice/Bhel/Murmure - 2 large cups

Onion - 1 medium sized, finely chopped

Tomato  - 1 medium sized, finely chopped

Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, finely chopped

Mint/Pudina leaves - 10, finely chopped

Boondi - 3 tbsp

Sev - 2 tbsp

Roasted Peanuts - 1/4 tsp

Lime Juice - 2 tsp

Chilli Powder - 11/2 tsp

Salt - As Per Taste

Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp

Oil - 1 tbsp


 Preparation:

1. Heat oil in a big pan and add turmeric powder and half teaspoon chilli powder, mix well for few seconds on medium heat. Add the puffed rice to it and mix well in such a way that all the puffed rice gets coated with turmeric powder and oil mixture.

2. Keep stirring for 2 minutes on medium heat and take off from heat. This step ensures that the puffed rice turns crispy.

3. In a small bowl add the chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, chopped coriander powder, chopped mint, lime juice and salt. Mix well.

4. Add this mixture to the puffed rice just before serving and mix well.

5. Top with roasted peanuts, boondi and sev.

6. Serve the tangy spicy murmure chat immediately, else the puffed rice might turn soggy.

Crispy Cheese balls


Crispy Cheese balls

Ingredients :
---------------
2  tablespoon(s) grated cheese 
½  cup(s) milk 
2  small onion(s) finely chopped 
2  green chilli(es) chopped fine 
1  teaspoon(s) ginger finely chopped 
8  bread slices 
1  tablespoon(s) finely chopped coriander leaves 
oil for deep frying 
salt to taste 


preparation:

  1. Mix the milk, grated cheese, chopped onions, green chilli(es), ginger, coriander leaves and salt in a bowl.
  2. Spoon the mixture on to each bread slice and roll it tight.
  3. Heat the oil for deep frying on high flame. Drop in the rolls slowly. Reduce the heat and fry on medium flame stirring frequently till the rolls are crisp and light brown in color. Drain on a paper tissue.
Serve hot with:  tomato ketchup.

Dry Maggie Munch

Kids evening Maggie munch :

Ingredients:

Maggie - 1pkt
oil for deep frying
cucumber - 1cup (finely chopped)
tomato - 1 big (finely chopped)
garam masala pwd - 1/4ts
chat masala pwd- 1/4ts
redchillie pwd - 1/4ts
green chillies paste 1/4ts
amchur pwd -1/4ts
salt to taste.

preparation

       Take a kadai and pour oil n deep fry the whole piece of Maggi till it is golden colour n then take it out n put it on a tissue paper.. Take another bowl n crush Maggie in to small pieces n add finely chopped cucumber tomato , garam masala , chat masala , red chillies pwd , green chillies paste , amchur pwd n salt to taste. mix all together n your Maggie delicious munch is ready to eat....

curd rings

Evening spicy sour chat :

preparation time 10 - 15 min

Ingredients:

sour curd  - 1cup
rice flour   - 1 cup
moong dal - 2 tblsps(soak in water for 10 min)
Bengal gram dal - 2 tblsps(soak in water for 10 min)
water 1/4 cup
green chillies paste - 1 1/2 sp
salt to taste
coriander leaves half bunch
oil for deep fry
preparation::

Take a kadai  pour 1 cup curd n 1/4 cup water n allow to boil . After it starts boiling add moong Dal , Bengal gram Dal ,green chillies paste, coriander leaves stir well den add rice flour n allow to boil for 1 min n mix well with out any lumps... now the batter is ready... smash it well n make small balls n then form a ring shape r as per your wish...... when all the rings r ready deep fry till golden colour.... now curd rings r ready to eat.. deliciousssssssss......... yummy

Moong dal Munch

A simple evening munch

Ingredients:

fried moong dal - 100g
grated carrot    - 50g
chopped onion - 50 g
lemon - 1/2 tblsp
green chillies paste to taste
salt to taste
coriander leaves for garnishing

preparation:

Take a bowl add grated carrot , finely chopped onion , green chillies paste , salt lemon n mix well then add fried moongdal n then garnish with finely  chopped coriander leaves.

               moongdal munch is ready to serve ....
